ICU ICU ICU ICU!! :))
i was almost late! i lost track of time actually :( :)) it was tiring to wake up everyday at around 4am :| i felt sleep deprived :( maybe because i got used to sleeping from 3am till 12nn :))
soo i was stationed at ICU today. i was with the ever so famous EA and Des :D yess. i call you now DES :) #Peace :))
so same thing. we received endorsements. i tried sooo hard to keep up. Sir Wyeth was talking soo fast! and the staff was like "ok ok ok" i was trying to write everything! :)) it was funny. my handwriting was awful! :)) soo we had 3 patients there. 2 were intubated, one was a bit makulit? hahaha ICU duty was always a boring one. the times seems longer and it was super quiet there :| soo we did the usual thing. Sir Christian (the charge nurse then who looks a lot like Rico Barrera of PBB :)) Peace tayo sir!!) was orienting us about the things we might encounter in the ICU :D he oriented us with the Meds in the E cart and all. how everything is done there. I met mam Riza too, she was a southville graduate. she help me out with my patient. :) also sir Christian (same name yes..) the senior VN there :D he told us what to expect aswell as a VN.
soo today was all about suctioning secretions, feeding them and taking there vitals. the patient I was assigned to couldn't really talk but he could hear and kinda reply to my inquires :)
during the most boring part of our duty.. i found myself reading a tagalog Bible i found on my patients bedside :| it was kinda funny me reading the bible there :)) BANAAAL! :))
Sir Christian VN was pretty nice teaching us everything we needed to know. something about the ICU that i felt i needed to always bring my A game.
it was kinda boring but still. :) lucky for us no one coded :D it was again benign :D but they said there were times that patients would just code right after the other and the ICU only having 5 patients would be super toxic!
it was fun hanging out with EA and Des :) ang kulit kulit ni Des :)) she reminds me of someone.. if forgot who -____- :))

sooo that was me duty. :D
i suddenly got a craving for some serenitea.. so i drove to town center :D yes all for a Large Hokkaido 50% sugar with Pearl Sinkers Serenitea :D and jamican patty :D

this is actually my first time going to ATC in my white uniform :)) serenitea was sooooo worth it :) i also bought a "wallet" :D hahaha thank you Sir Fritz for the idea :D hahahaha
soo driving home, i decided to take the friendship shortcut. little did i know, the shortcut was underconstruction. I ended up at Daang HAri Sea side :| :)) i had to make a U-turn and used the main road :| sayaaaaaaaaang gas :(

dinner time (following my diet) i cooked a whole plate of broccoli my mom bought in perps :)
