i woke up early this day. thinking that it would only take like 30 mins to get my nbi clearance. it was 6am. no one would be in line this early right? WRONG! i arrived with a long line of people already!! there was a separate line for men and women. the men's line was twice as long! soo i was there.. 6am in the morning. waiting for the OIC to hand our the application form.. 630.. 700.. nothing! i was getting tired! i heard some of the people there were waiting in line since 5am :| #IMBA
730 the man arrived and handed out forms. checking everyones cedula and id :| they only handed out like 100++ forms for women and the same i guess for men. i was number 57! sooo i was thinking..ok separate lines, so i guess this will be fast.. i was wrong again :( </3 the line just to pay for it was soo long.. it took 2 hours!! imagine that!! it was hot, i was hungry and people were getting a bit restless.
after paying you have to fall in line again to get your forms encoded. the encoding part was a bit fast.. only took about 30 mins. then you have to get your photo taken. biometrics things.. that was another long wait.
when it was nearly my turn, i saw this lady infront of us holding her form. this was unusual because she was lined up with us to have our photo taken but i felt she hasn't even got encoded yet. so me being a nice person asked her.. i asked if she's done getting encoded, she said she wasn't she was waiting to get her photo taken. so i told her the process. then she felt silent. then the OIC kinda figured out the situation she was in. good thing the people in the encoding line was nice enough to let her cut in. soo it was my time. got my fingerprint and photo taken. then the man behind the mirror called me. told me i wont get my nbi clearance today but instead on feb 1 which was okay because it was already 1130 and i still havta get home, take a bath and get ready for my 2pm duty.
i got home ate and did my thing
by 130, i passed my deficient documents to the nursing office and went straight to station 4 :) there was sir mike orienting Jesse and semi orienting me :) the nurses there were nice :D I remember all the fun times me and C2 had there. hanging out at the mini room. hiding from miss maj :))
soo again endorsement. it was still the same as i remembered. Mam Rose was our Head nurse :) she assigned me to help mam ruby :D She was a different person now. Last year she was VN who was a bit confused with some things, now she was Senior nurse and was like the Charge nurse :D it was awesome. she knew alot of things :) Mam grace was another VN. a senior VN :D she was nice. she constantly asked me if i was ok. maybe she knows how it feels to be the new VN in the area :) she was easy to talk to. she told me who's who. which doctor is who and stuff like that.
Out duty was once again quite benign. aside from the H***** thing :)) first hand experience :D hahaha
before our duty ended, mam grace and mam rose ordered pizza because it was mam grace's birthday on the 15th :D it was fun :D
mam Rose told me that new VNs are supposed to make libre the whole staff once assigned to there location especially station4 :D soo i was thinking. .. wheeeen.. hahahaha it was all good. i can save up some money to buy them pizza again :D maybe shakeys or the grand slam one :D
they also gave me this
it was soooo sweeeet! :D i was instantly part of their things :> i felt welcomed already :D
it wasn't really my choiceto get assigned to station 4.. i was still hoping to get NICU or station 1 and 3a.. but .. after this duty.. i felt.. i might really like station 4 :) its time to forget our mam maj moments there. time to make new memories with my Station 4 family :)
